Richard Alam
President & Co-Founder
With over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, Richard has built a reputation for his ability to structure creative financing solutions.
Richard began his career as a real estate investor in his early 20s. He became involved in the lending side of real estate and obtained his mortgage origination license originating loans for a residential broker. Richard moved on and became a residential lender then joined a commercial real estate company where he began originating commercial loans. Richard gained experience in loan structuring, risk management, and underwriting.
In 2014, Richard co-founded RCA Capital and began serving as president shortly thereafter. Richard has been instrumental in building RCA Capital’s reputation as a leading private real estate lender and Capital Advisory company. Under his leadership, RCA Capital has expanded its lending footprint nationwide.
Richard is known for his deep understanding of the real estate market and his ability to identify opportunities where others might see risk. He takes a collaborative approach to lending and works closely with borrowers to structure loans that meet their specific needs.
Richard holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is licensed as a mortgage originator and a real estate agent.
